anyone else tried this? you can download the demo here - http://www.gamershell.com/download_9850.shtml - basically it's like diablo / dungeon siege with 3d graphics, with a couple new nifty things like fishing, ect. takes place in a quiet city, which just so happens to sit directly next to a dungeon gate.
cool features include -
you start off with you and your pet, which is a cat or a dog - it doesn't have to stay like that though. mobs drop items that will permanetly turn your pet into different things, like a spider, wolf, tiger, ect so it keeps it interesting. your pet attacks and can be hit, but the most useful thing about it is it has it's own inventory, and you can fill it up with gear and send it off to town, and it'll sell it for you. when it goes off to town, a little timer appears and tells you how long until it comes back. you can also go fishing, and if you catch fish, you feed them to your pet and he turns into different things like gargoyles, owlbears, ect with extra stats for a certain amount of time. it levels up as well
all of the dungeons, mobs, quests and loot tables are randomly generated each time you start it up
special weapons have cool particle effects, ie a weapon with extra +ice damage on it will have lots of little snow flakes coming off it
there's quests you can get from random people in town, saying mob xx stole xx item from them, and they want it returned, he's on floor xx of the dungeon. rewards are exp, money, items, fame (faction) ect
another good thing about it is it's only 20 bucks. i bought it today. for anyone looking for a good hack and slash game, i'd recommend checking this out
