Birth father information.

So I'm adopted. My birth mother won't give me any information regarding my birth father other than that he has a family with one daughter. Neither his wife nor daughter have any clue I exist. I'm not going to fuck up his family, but I would like more information about him and my half sister. Without knowing his name, does anyone know how I can find out more information?

I was born at Fort Hood in Texas. I looked around on their website for quite a while looking for a way to get this information. Couldn't find anything ><

Too late. You're his half-sister.

My mother found her mother's parents over in Norway last year. She used the site
http://www.genealogy.com
Off this site she found out that her mom's mom came across to ellis island ect and put my grandma up for adoption. She then found the relatives over in Norway and spent a week there. I don't know how much that site will help you but she was able to get around the adoption of her mom.

Thats not cool of her to not tell you. Your an adult and have the right to know where ya come from. Lay into her bout it being bullshit and get real instense if ya need to its justified. Dont let up till she tells you the truth.
Im not sure if its true or not but once your an adult cant you open those kind of records yourself ?

Go over to Texas, walk around Fort Hood and ask any man that looks like you "Are you my father?" Keep expanding your questioning area until you find him. Lets hope he doesn't live too far from Fort Hood, like in Malaysia or something. Good luck with your search.

Hope you have better luck than I have so far. I knew where I was born and the county I was adopted in went so far as to give me a vague family history sheet, and another paper, in which they had kindly scratched out the last names of my birth parents, the county I was born in was equally as "helpful" and I have sheets that I have to fill out and get notarized for them to even consider letting me have access to my file. Once I turn them in a judge could still tell me no and leave it closed. Bastards.

I guess you never considered that your birth parents might NOT want you to find them, which might be a contributing factor in their decision to give you up in the first place.

Thanks for the insight but I know the background. My birth mother sent along a blanket she made and a letter telling me I was free to contact her whenever if ever I wanted to. Unfortunately, that's not good enough for a judge I guess.

And something you failed to mention in your previous post. Funny that she wrote you a letter telling you to contact her at any time yet she failed to include any contact info. lolz. In any case, good luck with your search.

From what I understand she wouldn't have been allowed to. It wasn't an open adoption (I think that's what it's called) where you exchange info etc. and are free to contact on both sides. And btw, nice attempt at swinging your "I'm trying to be a big asshole" bat, but as usual, swing, and a miss. You haven't come up with anything I hadn't already thought of or heard.

Actually, I wasn't trying to be an asshole, when I said "good luck with your search" I was actually being sincere. I guess if I don't grovel and kiss your ass and boo-hoo you about your being adopted I'm "an asshole".

First off, fuck you. Act suprised because I didn't believe you were sincere? Like any time in the last year you've been genuinely decent when speaking directly to me?

Like haha, that's funny? Right. So forgive me if I don't believe it when that's the line before good luck with your search. I have never once asked you to kiss my ass but pulling your head out of yours would be a good start.

Funny how you always seem to go for the oh don't get pissed line when I'm never really pissed. Now tell me, did you really think that you could make your "sincere" comments and that I wasn't going to say something back? Come on, I know you're smarter than that.

I only made one sincere comment, which was "good luck with your search".
