Battlefield 2142

Demo is out on fileplanet and gamers hell. pretty bad ass so far. same deal as the BF2 demo, multiplayer on one map. there's tons of vehicles, i've seen mechs, tanks, the "jeep", the jet helicopter, and APC's.

coolest new weapon so far is the EMP grenade. mounted on vehicles/turrets, some are lock-on homing missles, and the others are dumb-fire grenades. one hit temporarily disables a vehicle, and you can pretty much stun-lock them. i hit a low flying jet with a dumbfire one and he fell like a meteor. i chain gunned him down as soon as he jumped out of the cockpit.
the mech walkers are just mean. on top of the tons of regular weaponry for the pilot, you get a secondary gunner. the one i was in had two heavy machine guns + dual EMP missle launchers for the gunner.

eh? planetside was awesome, except for the monthly fee
if it was free to play, it'd be the biggest fps on the planet right now

i'm having a fucking blast so far. unlocked the engineer's anti-air weapon. it shreds gunships and can take out the air transports with one reload.
i'm BicMan if anyone else bought it
