I'm predicting a Pistons sweep, because I'm an idiot.

I agree with you out because of my blind hatred for the Lakers.

Lakers will dick around get down 2-1 then win 3 in a row to finish out the MOST BORING NBA finals EVER.
I watched game one. Yea pistons play good defense, but it isn't GREAT. And the lakers can't play D unless its Kobe. But neither team has good shooters either. Neither team can make a free throw unless its Kobe.
Thank god after this year the Lakers are probably gonna break up and then most of the teams that play that piece of shit style will be gone in the west.
At least the Bulls of the late 90s could score 100 with playin that really shitty style that the lakers/Pistons/Pacers play
If it was Minnisota or the Kings or Dallas, Pistons would get swept or it would be 4-1. But the way the Lakers slack until they are gonna be eliminated isn't fun to watch.
It would be hilarious tho if the lakers were beat. I would feel sorry for Karl and laugh my ass off at Payton. But i would laugh at it all. They would be the first team (in my memory) that have had 4 hall of famers on the team (that didn't begin with the rebuilding) and won the title

Hate is such a wonderful thing.
On a side note, is anyone else sick of seeing Karl Malones tearful interviews about his mother? This whole thing is turning into an NBA sideshow for marketing.

I'm from the Detroit area (sad to say) and these playoffs are all everyone is talking about.

Karl Malone can suck a nut. I hate him, his whining, his dirty play, and mainly the fact that he used to be on that fucked up Utah Jazz team, my hatred just transfered with him.
Not that I think La will lose, but I rather hope they do. First to shove it to Karl, second to shut up all the Fan Bois that jumped on the "best team evah" bandwagon that so many people jump on for the lakers.

oh they will never be the BEST TEAM ever That goes to the Celtics back in the day and MJ's Bulls teams that could have won 8 straight if Jordan didn't retire.
ANd if i remember correctly, those teams actually played hard most of the time unlike the Lakers

if i cared, i'd root for the pistons, because the same guy that owns the pistons also owns the tampa bay lightning and it would be cool to see him have two championship teams

His WNBA team already won this year, so this would be three.

Let's all get in a Way-Back machine and flashback to 15 years ago when this matchup actually made a great series worth watching.

from what i'm told it's all defense instead of offense
but since i watch hockey and football mostly, 88 points seems like a lot of offense to me /shrug

Nothing.
Hear and read from less whiny people. I would avoid IgraineShedra.
Great series so far. The Lakers super deep bench seems so short now that they are getting nothing from Malone and Payton. I really hope Detroit wins and people can stop whining about the east.
