Political Correctness to the extreme

This is totally fucked up. From BBC News:
A 14-year-old girl has been arrested for allegedly making racist remarks at a school in Greater Manchester.
Codie Stott said she asked to be moved from a science group where she was with five Asian pupils - only one of whom spoke English.
The 14-year-old was questioned in a juvenile unit before being released without charge.
Harrop Fold High School, in Worsley, is investigating before deciding on what action to take.
Racism complaint
Codie said: "I asked the teacher could I change groups because I didn't understand them and she said I was being racist and started shouting at me."
A complaint was made and she was taken to a police station.
Her mother said her Codie's jewellery and shoelaces were removed, her fingerprints and DNA samples were taken and she was put in a cell.
The school said it wanted to ensure it had a caring and tolerant attitude to pupils of all ethnic backgrounds and it did not stand for racism in any form.
Greater Manchester Police said it took hate crime reports very seriously and its treatment of the teenager was in line with normal procedure.

She complained she couldnt understand them and got sent to the clank? Is there more to this like she said " these chinks all stink with there ching chang chong talk and kung fu I CANT UNDERSTAND THEM"

Yes, I'm sure the 14 year old girl was all, excuse me ma'am, these Asians are nice and all but I just can't understand them. And then the teacher went ape shit on her.
I think the real story here is the bullshit article that completely slanted this story. I'd be willing the bet all my goat points the 14 year old didn't use kosher vernacular when asking to be changed groups.

Sending a kid to the clank and taking DNA and shit is a huge fuckin deal. Im with you she prolly didnt ask to switch groups in a kind way but your fuckin off your rocker if you think thats how they should handle it.

Actually it is, especially in a school. But she didn't get charged with anything, they were just trying to scare her.

Jus like everyone else, they're looking for a story. There's no story if it's about a foul mouthed 14 year old yelling at some asians then getting sent to get fingerprinted as punishment. OMG I hope the emotional damage of spending 3 hours getting processed wont stay with her forever!

I never said it was "ok", it's just not news worthy. She mouthed off and they tried to scare her straight. Big deal. All this media bullshit is just going to make her rich with the lawsuit she's going put forth. I'm sure you all agree she's justified in receiving compensation from the government for her "traumatic" event.
