so i'm thinking about picking one of these up. i heard that untold legends is a great game
is a PSP worth the money in general? do you find yourself playing it often enough to warrant shelling out the 200 bucks it costs to purchase one?

When it's $100 or less, I'll pick one up.

I owned my PSP for about 6 months and only accumulated about a weeks worth of play time on it, if not less, and it already had a dead pixel. It was the most annoying thing in world.
Get a DS Lite.

Xbox will not get cheaper any time soon. They have stopped making them and the prices for used ones have doubled in the last 3 months.

DS Lite for the win~
I really wanted a PSP when they came out
then I played one for a while
It was cool, looked neat, could do some good stuff, yada yada yada
DS didn't look nearly as good
then games started being tailored to the DS
they didn't look that great, but man, that touchpad interface kind of kicks ass
the DS Lite is tons better than the original DS, and the games just keep getting better

PSP is nice if you use it for more than games. I use mine as an MP3 player, you can download movies etc onto it if you have a big enough memory stick.

In that case, I would go with a DS lite and a 80 GB video ipod.
I know you're spending more money, but the 80 GB video ipod is far greater than the PSP + big memory stick.

How so? Unless you're a person who has an entire hard drive worth of music that you carry with you...do you walk 50 miles to work or something?

i work at an icecream store, assistant manager
when i work, i'm the only one there the whole shift, and i get like 2-3 customers a day usually when it's cold like this
i'm only 20, and i'm in college, so getting paid 8 bucks an hour to do my homework and shit is a good deal for me. i also make the schedule, so i schedule myself for whenever i want
also i only have about 3gb of music on my ipod, and i dont really use it that much anymore :/

For gaming, get a DS.
For random multimedia bullshit, get a PSP.

Get a pocket PC.
Mine has a phone, high speed internet access, I can watch full length movies, hold gigs worth of porn and music, do my expense reports, play games and use it as a modem for my laptop.
