Minimum wage

So I live in Washington were we have a minimum wage of $7.65. And we pay like $0.60 for a candy bar, and $3.50 for a gallon of milk at the store, when they aren’t on sale.
And I’m just wondering how much stuff like candy, milk and eggs costs in states that just have the federal minimum wage.

The funny thing is I have no idea how much I spend on milk and eggs but I buy it once every couple of weeks on the regular.

A candy bar is like 60 cents here also but I only pay like $2.30 for a gallon of milk.

Min wage wouldn't need to be raised if cock suckers weren't so greedy and wanting to over charge for everything.

Have you ever run a business of your own?
I'm just curious. Don't necessarily mean anything by it. I just get the impression that the bulk of people who rail against "greed" only have the employee perspective.

Working for minimum wage would suck.

Depends. If minimum wage was enough to pay bills and have a bit extra it wouldn't be that bad.

WIC is a great program. I used it for my first two kids.
I always got peanut butter instead of beans. And I had this weird addiction to Juicy Juice back then. Itw as also cool because I never used all that they gave me and I gave it to my friends who earned too much to get WIC.
Wic is a good program.
I can't believe that was so long ago...God I am old...
I turn 31 in Dec...

31 doesnt seem that old to me. Thats what im sayin though. If you could find a decent enough job you wouldnt need wic. If people got paid a decent wage and oculd find a decent job no one would need govt assistance.

It's called being a go getter. It's not a shock that the people out there who have shitty jobs are te ones at home in the basement smoking their brains out and not giving a shit enough to improve their own living situations.

I haven't used wic in about 7 or 8 years..I am just saying that it is a great program in a society that is rough and tough all over.
