If you are even a remote fan of action games or multiplayer shooters, you need this game. Best loading times I've seen on 360. Best graphics I've seen on 360. Best sound...best pacing...this game has it all.

Both of these are filmed in the game. Yes parts of it are cinematics, but it's made directly with the game engine. When a cinematic stops you don't even realize it until folks start shooting you and you bump the controller and see you are controlling.

The multiplayer is smooth and fast paced. For console multiplayers, Halo has just been replaced.

Nope. It's the baddest shooter ever made.

In the manual, Cliffy B. (Head of Epic Games/Unreal Founder) stated, he was playing paintball when he thought that all FPS's do the same thing. Strafing, Circle-Strafing, jumping around like a rabbit while shooting. He wanted to make something that caught the essence of a gunfight. He did just that.

The main style of fighting is using cover. Knowing when to rise up and fire off a few rounds and when to get on your ass. It's VERY intense so far. After an hour or two I was worn out. The action is just nonstop.

The camera is done over the right shoulder. Left trigger you aim, right trigger you shoot. A button does many things. Sprint/Duck/Hide/Use cover. Just depends on what your standing near. Y button zooms in on points of interest. Pretty cool for when checking out the environment, which I have to say is impressive as hell. Has an old Roman feel to it.

I used to feel the same. I'm a huge FPS fan, and HATE using joysticks to aim. But the mechanics of this game beat any FPS I've ever seen.

Plus I'm running a PC with a 64bit 4200+ dual core, 2GB Corsair DDR, 2x 7600GT's in SLI, Soundblaster X-FI, and can run most any game at max settings flawlessly. There is no way my PC could handle the graphics and loading going on in GoW at the same framerate my 360 does.

If they do buy 10,000,000 360's im sure half of them will be sent back for repairs due to the disc read error and the red ring of death !
I just bought mine two weeks ago and it disc read errors every half hour or so on brand new games

Used mine about 10 hours total and already had to send mine back

Since Microsoft is selling the xbox 360 at a loss, your brother's profit sharing bonus due to the 360 would be nothing.

Well, the collory assumption to selling 10mil 360s is that people would be buying games for said 360s. Since my brother is in the games division, not the hardware division, that's where the bonus would come from.

I've had mine for 6 months probably and had 0 issues.

What a kick ass game. I played coop with a buddy last night through the first chapter. Totally amazing game.

I thought it was funny too. I'm envious though. I don't have a good enough TV to justify a 360.

A friend of mine was telling me about the new "laser" TVs that will make plasmas obsolete. Have y'all heard anything about them? Worth waiting for?

Also, can you hook up a 360 to a computer monitor?
