I have an old PS1 with a chip in it. It plays CDRs.

How does the chip work? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Tikker: I dont want to use a keyboard and my usb controller for comp is broken. I have a ps1 sitting right here and if a mod chip or whatever needs to happen is cheaper ill go with that.

I bought the chip for like $15 and soldered it in. This was almost 10 years ago so I'm not going to be much of a resource.

Most of those PS1 games aren't worth the CD.

You can still buy FFVII on ebay and such. Actually, I probably have a copy laying around somewhere. PM me and I could have it shipped to you.

Hmm. Hey Naethyn, if you want my greatest hits copy (mint) you can have it for 40. I got 2 copies since I lost one a long time ago then found it again.

This sounds like a bunch of people arguing about investing in video games because they appreciate in value so much.

FFVII is by far the best single player game I've ever played.

I am still partial to Panzer Dragoon Saga. That SOB fetches well over $100 these days.

I'd kill someone for a new Panzer Dragoon title.
