I picked Obama by accident. I meant Gore >< Obama is cool too though. Oh and what about independants? Doug Stanhope is running for Pres too ya know.

Actually, he never said that, Evermore. That was a misquote by a newspaper reporter, that the right wing talking heads picked up and ran with. What he actually took credit for was introducing the legislation that created the internet, and getting that passed, which he WAS at least partly responsible for.
