I just bought a bunch of the Fujitsu ultralights for a couple of our sales peeps and they are way sharp... the screen is crystal clear and the keyboard doesn't feel chinsy like the Acer and Sony laptops that we were using elsewhere. Fuji is totally my favorites right now. Stay away from HP.

Fujitsu lifebook... that's what I meant. Yeah, they look sweet. I am seriously considering this one though...

Finally got a new laptop:
Sony VAIO SZ340
Small, lightweight, long battery life, good graphics and fast. I love it.

this is right along the lines of what i will buy once i have some money set aside. although, i'm also kind of interested in having one custom-built. any thoughts on that?
hopefully i'll get enough money back for tax returns that i'll be able to kill a credit card or two and move on to buying something nice with my money, rather than pouring it all onto stupid credit. :\

wtf? You could have donated that hard-earned money to the republican party. Think before you buy next time.

Or saved it for Hillarys next 'Save the Children' 1500/plate Presidential run dinner.
Anyways, I'm smitten by the new Macbooks. If I didnt have assloads of bills, I'd buy one.

I bought the Sony because it's perfect for work AND I can game on it if I ever get some time... The Geforce 7400 GO is a decent chipset for such a portable laptop.
