OK so This week I am going to start painting the inside of our new place. I am looking for different ideas of some creative stuff, as we are not using just paint in any sort of room.

IE: the wood floor in the dining room we're going to paint the floor white and use blue diamonds on the floor. The Living room we're going to use a base paint of different fall colors ( red orange and yellow ) on each wall then give it a burnt look with a sponged brown.

Looking for a couple ideas for different rooms. Shoot em out I'll see how they can come out.

The Nameless Tavern Room. You paint everyones Avatar on the wall in random locations, you take the "favorite sex act" thread, and paint the pictures from the thread on the walls as well.

.............And make sure you add one token blackguy painted in the corner as well. You know for diversity and affirmative actions stuff.

and because it looks like shit as the last person pulled the carpet up - its in a room with big french doors and leads outside trying to give it a little more feel, it is a small room though the rest of the wood floors are staying.

i like hardwood floors, too..but i suggested something weird because your original idea was weird...

Refinishing hard wood floors can be dangerous to your health if you aren't careful.
Might want to have a professional do it. Have you thought about throw rugs. They can be an easy solution to decorating and still keeping your style in the room.

Haha gotta go with ya on this one just got done like a week ago refinishing half of the woodfloors at my bro's house. It's dangerous if you dont have a simple dollar face mask on and sniff the shit.

gonna have to go with the general consensus of don't paint a hardwood floor, even if it's just with a colored finish - older hardwood floors are a lot harder to come by these days without people ruining them

my house is all hardwood floors, some fuckstick had painted over them and devalued the house like a motherfucker and only sold it for 120 after paying 130, next couple stripped them and refinished them in the 1 year that they were here and turned around and made 30 grand on it even after the real estate bubble had popped.

currently i would prefer carpet in a lot of places of the house simply because it's easier on the feet, but no way would i sacrifice the nice wood floors.

I'm guessing "our" is referring to the really pretty girl in the pictures btw~
