i dunno, that fricking hinder song just pisses me right off. everyone wanders around singing it like since it's slow and sappy-sounding it's a love song and ohhhh liips of an annnngelllll blah blah but goddammit it really makes me angry to listen to the actual words. if my boy was in the next room talkin to some chick on the phone about how he wishes i was her, then i'd rather he dumped me than be with me, all the while wishing i was some other bitch. seriously.

i guess it just irritates me how teeny-boppers seem to think this is such a romantic song when actually it's about being unhappy in one's relationship. ugh, whatever. sorry. done now.

Leah i said the same thing to my wife, she likes the song. But then she also reminded me she likes some songs like "ass like that" and many popular rap/hip hop songs that she just ignores the words.

I'm with you on this one Leah, I've commented on the words to several friends who are on the verge of becoming obsessive over Hinder. It's a very lame song lyric wise, and I guess I'm just one of those people that judge's a song based on lyrics and not the overall sound, style, or feel.

It's kind of like that Matchbox 20 song, "Push," which sounds awesome until the chorus. Then it's fucked.

That whole chorus of that song annoys the crap out of me. Other parts are at least musically OK, but I can't stand the chorus at all. So, since with my Sirius radio, I have 140 other channels of stuff I can listen to, as soon as that comes on, boom, channel change time.
