Wow that's really harsh.
She now has a new puppy, another Australian shepherd. She's named it Diesel. "Hopefully, he'll be my best friend," Crystal said.
I wonder if it's named after Vin.

"I couldn't talk to anyone. He was my dog. It was just me and him. ... I told him everything and he never shared any of my secrets."
I couldn't help myself.

I laughed when I read the word Heinous...had Bill and Ted flashbacks.
Then I finished the article and felt ill.

I read the headline, felt ill, also lost faith in humanity though that was gone a few years ago when a car tried to make me have a head on collision rather than not speed up and allow me around them like passing cars are supposed to do. people are out there trying to bring us down.
fucked up people get pleasure from other people's pain. this is an example...it's sick. just have to not read this crap-bleh.

I suppose thats one scenario. Acting out of rage is one thing, hopefully afterwards the people have to live with the guilt once their anger subsides and they realize what they've done.
What about the cold people - the ones that lack emotion and do fucked up shit just to see the reaction ? Those are the ones that really scare me.

They're called sociopaths.

people don't do something for no reason at all. there is motivation behind everything. to feel no emotional attachment to a living creature is probably possible but I do have emotions toward others so I can't say. if I consider the people I do not have emotions for then I can say yes that is possible.
to feel nothing, no joy or pain or any emotion whatsoever...to actually pursue or maintain such perfect balance of the conscience by harming another person would have to be nothing but a freak of nature that went horribly wrong in genetics...maybe they were created from cosmic fragments that are different than people with the ability to feel an emotion toward a living creature and/or have emotions themselves.
that is possible but I don't really believe that. I do believe people check out mentally. I do believe in someone being so far removed from who they really are they are able to believe their own lies and the darkness they live in haunts them forever whether they feel it or not.

Obviously, if a person such a freak of nature that they are perfectly able to maintain their cool while slicing off a dog's head and handing it to it's owner later without feeling emotion, or any other heinous act of evil you can think of, then the person could obviously do something else, that is say, productive as opposed to violent, and they wouldn't be such an outcast. They made a decision, emotion or not afterward. Something is there.

Central to understanding individuals diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder is that they appear to experience a limited range of human emotions. This can explain their lack of empathy for the suffering of others, since they cannot experience the emotion associated with either empathy or suffering.
Antisocial Personality Disorder is the more technical and accurate name for Sociopathy.
There are many forms of it, and all include a lack of one or more emotions (or so it appears, it's tough to say with any finality...we're not in their heads)
