Having just installed and implimented Docuware (Digital Doc storage) this was interesting.
Reminds me of my #1 task as an IT Manager. Make sure you backups are functional, double check, then ask someone else to check them.
(oh yea and always keep a sep backup from the people that try to restore or can delete em.)

We have the fun task of trying to convince business owners to spend the money necessary to ensure we can restore their business in case of disaster.
Us "This backup solution is thorough and comes at a price tag of $15,000"
Customer "That's ridiculous, I won't pay that much"
Us "Ok"
4 months later
Customer "OMG! 2 drives went in our raid array! HELP! We HAVE TO HAVE THAT DATA! That's our whole business!"
Us "Ugh... nothing we can do at this point, sorry. Try calling On-Track, you are probably looking at a $30,000 bill to get that data restored if they can do it at all"
Customer "Fuck, so how much was that backup solution again?"
Us "*grin*"

Haha, we had that problem a while back. A week before they were coming to install all the backup shit, BAM the *ex* secretary fucks up and somehow deletes months and months worth of info pertaining to payables, receivables, inventory, everything. What a fucking mess that was.
