I'll bet it's not as bad as hers.
SALT LAKE CITY — A pipe kicked up by another car broke through a driver's windshield and pierced the woman's face and neck, officials said.
Brenda Shaw, 36, was impaled Monday after the car in front of her on Interstate 15 ran over the pipe. It was several feet long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter, officials said.
It may have fallen off a construction truck, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Preston Raban.
"Nobody really knows for sure," Raban said. "It looks like a piece of scaffolding."
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the pipe hit Shaw just left of her nose and under her eye — missing her spinal cord by inches. Shaw was able to stop her car on the left side of the road and another driver who stopped to help called 911.
Shaw was conscious when troopers arrived, and the pipe had been removed by the time she got to the hospital, officials said.
She was in intensive care Thursday at LDS Hospital. She was in critical but stable condition.

WEll currently I am on vacation in CA - as such when your gf is 3000 miles away its always fun to be broken up with via text msg. Frankly im having a shit couple weeks. I am hoping I can top it off tonight by getting ass raped in down town campbell.

Good day or bad day? Last night my best friend told the girl that I'm going crazy over that I'm interested in her. I JUST introduced them. She said "me too." I already knew that she liked me though. I know a girl that had her windshield shattered while just driving around town. Some kids apprently thought it would be funny to toss a phone book out their car window and watched it hit the car behind them. Glass shattered into thousands of little pieces, went in her face, cut through her clothes, in her eyes, her mouth, her hair, etc. She managed to pull over safely too. I can't even imagine the scene. >_<
That has to be on par with the pipe.

You ever seen what happens when you break a windshield? Unless she was driving a really really really old car (I think safety glass was invented in the 1910s?) or had someone put in an el cheapo windshield...

Most windshields if not all windshields are double pane so there's not a chance that would happen unless it was a baseball sized phone book and one of those kids were Roger Clemens.
