It's really a long story im pretty much devastated atm. I am trying to give her the space she needs. *type of person that sets a goal and isnt happy til they do it* I am pretty sure that her independence and not having to rely on anyone is a big part of a sort of life goal. With me around she is able to depend on me and thus not completing that goal. At least this is my theory.

I maybe out here again though as i love baltimore and hopefully after some time apart and her being able to live by herself we can figure things out from there. But will give me time to see family, friends, and work on shit that I need to work on for myself. So all in all it's a ok break up just hard to go through.

Mop, if you think there may be a future,why not get your own place in the Baltimore?

so we talked alot this weekend bout stuff, figured out alot of stuff and I realized what the underlying problem was. We worked out a deal and I thought about staying in baltimore, but I don't want to have her feel pressured or have to think about us. I think its best if we are friends for a while and she gets to live alone, we've already made plans so that new years ( or around that time ) we'll get together in CA and we'll talk bout us as a relationship. From there we can figure it out. She needs space and I'll have time to not be in a relationship to work on stuff I need to work on for myself. At that time we can work on us. if I stay here she knows im staying just for the chance of us, which imo is just added pressure to the situation.

It'll also give me to time to spend iwth my family as my grandparents are getting older.

I didn't want to say it first but yeah...."needs space" is code for wanting to test the waters to see if she can get someone better - makes more money...better connected...etc. And if she can't, then will come back after a year or 2 and hope you're still waiting.

Only once in my life have I ever seen someone need space come back around within 6 months and not see anyone else, and that was basically just because his best friend was in his ear every day about not fucking up the best thing he ever had.

we've already have had that talk, we are * broken up* so it really doesnt matter if she sees someone else at this point. But I trust her enough that this isnt the current case. I know her well enough to know what she says is true, so its fine. I am not going to sit around crying over her - in January we will talk about *us* again. Until then we're friends. After pissing me off alot about how it was handled she has gone out of her way to be friends with one another in the past 4 days or so. we just got back from lunch and the movies.
