How are the Cavs going to be Detroit?
I'll bet you all my goat points VS 10 or yours that Detroit beats Cleveland.
Likely Spurs Detroit, Spurs in 6.
Still rooting for the Suns though.

You don't think the Suns can beat San Antonio?

I talked to a cousin from San Antonio last night... his thoughts were pretty funny. He basically says that the West just needs to send the Spurs to the finals every year by default. Since 02-03, every team to make it to the finals was either "The Spurs" or someone who had to beat them in a grueling best of 7, which means Dallas and L.A. But neither team went on to finish the job. 2003, the Spurs win. 2004, the Lakers get p0wned 1-4. 2005, the Spurs win. 2006, the Mavericks choke. 2007? Spurs are the favorites to go on and finish it. Basically, the teams in the West are embarrasing themselves by not finishing. Everyone knows (this, coming from a Spurs fan) that the Lakers 'should have' beaten the Pistons... but they didn't. Everyone knows that the Mavericks were the better team, but they blew it (like a Ref's whistle).
So here comes 2007... no team beats the Spurs and they win it again. It's like, seriously... only one team knows how to 'finish.' Just give it to them already.

The Spurs are getting old and this may be their last big run, given the shift of power in the West. Dallas would've beaten them in a 7 game series, but for the GS freak accident. Phoenix can beat them, but the NBA seems to prefer Thugball over fastbreaks so it probably won't happen.
Zan, the Cavs can beat Detroit. It's a question of if they show up for the whole series and play their game. Heck, if Chicago had come out in game 1 like they did in game 4, they would've beaten Detroit. The Pistons are a good team, but they are very beatable. Lebron needs to up his game, and Hughes needs to consistently show up to do that, though.

Cavs will win just so we can have the next 2 Jesuses (Jesi?) in back to back finals.

Yes but Chicago is a much better team than Cleveland.

I watched game 6 of the Clevand - Nets game and the Cavs looked really good. Lebron made 2 3's in a row from WAY beyond the arc and it was like he didn't even try. It was impressive.

They rebound better, they defend better, and they have better shooters.
In what aspect of the game is Cleveland better? Getting the calls cause they have an overrated player?

Everyone knows those were phantom calls :P
Spurs-Jazz 4-1(with the way Jazz are playing, it looks to be a sweep)
Pistons-Cavs 4-2
Spurs-Pistons 4-2

Heck, why even play the rest of the playoffs. We should just annoint the Mavs the champs...
Oops.

Argue your own team, buddy.
Many many analysts were putting San Antonio over the Mavs anyway... But we had 'the perfect storm' to deal with.
