Yeah. While I don't like whaling in general, at least the Eskimos take very few, and they use every last bit of the animal. Blubber for heating and light, etc. etc. etc.

The commercial whaling to sell to restaurants, etc. like the Japanese and Norwegians are doing is the sick-making version. Notice how groups like Greenpeace never say word 1 about the Eskimos and their hunts, but will get flotillas of ships out there to disrupt the commercial fleets.

I guess you weren't aware that the eskimoes have all the modern conveniences as we do... reservations with housing with heat and air, restaurants, fast food restaurants, schools, grocery stores, etc. THEY DON"T NEED TO BE KILLING WHALES.

im saddened that the culture of these natives wasnt raped as completely and utterly as the people who used to live in the consecutive states.

I feel bad that I want to disrupt that ancient hunting tradition of firing bomb lances from a heavy shoulder gun to kill whales. It obviously has historical significance.

I wish I were a native, those bastards get like 50k a year just for being native up here. Of course they all spend every penny of that on booze, unless their town is one of the many "dry" towns.
