I met someone who does brand management. She's currently marketing a 'kid drink.' She asked me to guess what drink it is. Any guesses from the parents (or others) out there?

Thanks

I thought you were joking, but a google shows a lot of "I Love Vodka" baby t-shirts. Is this a joke, or is this actually a drink? What's it like?

Kool-Aid?
Juicy Juice?
Capri Sun?
Hawaiian Punch?
Simulac?
Pedialyte? (ps. this shit is the best for hangovers I have determined)

The first three I've at least heard of! Though it sounds like I need to try Pedialyte. Hangovers are a bitch past 30. . .

Wtf, you've never heard of Hawaiian Punch?

The other two I only know about because I have been around friends/family with babies. I think I mispelled Simulac... maybe it is Similac? I can't remember ><

and yeah, Pedialyte... doctors will tell you to drink it if you have severe dehydration from being sick.

haha, yeah, I've heard of Hawaiian Punch. I miswrote.

Okay, I've done some e-sleuthing, and I found out that her work email address is Kraft foods. 10, or anyone else, which brand does that point me towards?

Oh, she lives in NY, but I imagine she can do her brand management for any company anywhere. . .

Similac is baby formula.

Pedialyte tastes like crap. It's nasty.

It's probably that new juice with the carrots in it.

Nice. Where are you now anyway? Are you still in NJ?

TANG

I forgot about that nasty shit.
Thats it for drinks marketed primarily for children, although I remember drinking a lot of Crystal Light when I was a teenager.

I'm back in Ohio for school.

I ended things back in March because thats how long the internship was supposed to last... they wanted me to stay & offered me a comfy salaried position(non-exempt at that) with great benefits. I couldn't do it though, I was losing my mind because I was so fucking bored & my blood pressure was climbing rapidly.

I don't think Twinings is a subsidary of Kraft, but I could be wrong.

Gotcha. Probably the right move.

Kraft Foods make too many 'kids' drinks! I think I'll have to go with Kool-Aid from the options since I at least had that a few times as a kid.

This is a group effort though, what does everyone think? Should we set up a poll? I've got to reply to her tomorrow!

I wish I weren't so good at the e-sleuthing. . . I've now found her blog. OMG

I'd almost be willing to say it will be Tang because I haven't seen any strong marketing drives recently for that.

No mention of the brand in her blog as far as I've seen so far. Maybe it's a different person. . .

Isn't there a new flavored Country Time coming out or something?

I'd say with 50% confidence that it is Tang.
