http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page (which is down currently)

that should give you enough info about each profession and the last site has tested/viable PvE and PvP builds

Sams Club had the three game combo for 79 bucks or so. I'm tempted to nab it. Anyone here an actual player?

I've been playing it for a couple months, got a small group of friends that play also

man, the group for 80 is cool, i have to say that i have been playing a couple nights and i totally dig it, graphics-wise and levelling is very similar to WoW, so it is easy to pick up, i am looking forward to playing it more,

i am currently trying out a Ranger/Monk build

Stab & Kramer, when are you two playing and is it easy to catch up to screw around?

not sure, haven't had anyone to communicate with, i assume it is pretty easy, they have quick travel, you can double click a map...

i will probably be playing fluidrage headshot if you want to try, though my playtime is pretty limited, it's why i am not playing wow

takes no time at all to hit the level cap(20) and the storyline quests arent too long, longest one ive done has been 2 hours with a bad group, do you can beat all 3 campaigns in a few weeks of casual play

What Stab said = getting to lvl 20 only takes a few days at max. It's not designed for you to have to grind. Think of the level cap as a fixed learning curve. It's just to get you to understand how to play. Blowing through the quests themselves is no big deal, especially if you have people to group with all the time, or if you purchase NightFall and get all your heroes. We have successfully finished off both Prophecies and NightFall with only heroes. Factions, however, is a bit tougher.
This is not a game of "he who has the best armor/weapons wins" - everyone ends with the same armor. Everyone can have the best weapons in game. There are no raids. The true "end game" is all PvP, and is totally skill based.

Heh, I forgot about this thread.

We really aren't playing much right at the moment, as a plethora of IRL crap came up all at once for everyone a couple weeks ago, but that will change in a few weeks. n00bishness is not a problem ;)
Our little guild tends to play late evening / early morning, and sporadically throughout the afternoon. My main character is necro named "Chamberlain De Vil"
I'll look for you when I'm on.

Thats cool. I'm doing what Kramer is and playing a few hours a week. I have all three expansions, but right now I'm just working my Monk/Elem up the original one.

Wow, you seriously need to upgrade.

I play it on 2 PCs at home and have zero lag. The game runs great on my 4 year old one.
