Addicts not withstanding, people who choose to do drugs affect no one but themselves if done responsibly. (Obviously an addict can't even breathe responsibly, hence why we should just kill them off to help their problem with that.)

I'm saying that the majority of people who do drugs affect the people around them
just like people who drink (not even necessarily alcoholics), or those that smoke, have an affect on those around them

Even when done 'responsibly' acid, LCD, shrooms, etc.. can cause anyone to do pretty stupid shit that may very will affect people around them.

How does anyone smoking, or drinking, in their home affect those around them? Changing the focus from one drug to another doesn't do anything.
I don't smoke, and generally have stopped drinking. With the exception of my birthday this weekend I haven't touched a drop in over a month.
So it's not like I am trying to defend myself, nor do I have any love for addicts of any sort. I hate them as much or more than the next.

ABUSE of drugs can effect people around you. USE (unless you're talking secondhand smoke from pot, in which case you might have an argument should a non-user be present when someone is smoking a bowl) effects no one but the taker. There's a vast vast difference between use and abuse
