My One Year Anniversary

Yeah, its my one year at my Job Today....
Good for me, I know... but its the first job i've ever had for a year so it's a big deal for me.
They just gave me a certificate...(i'm waiting for my key ring)

Congratulations. Longevity is a big deal on your resume.
I've been in my current position for eight years. Since I took this job and started telecommuting, I plan on staying in it as long as I can.

i've been at this job for a year and two months. prior to that, i was at the grocery store i worked at in college for three years, a village inn for almost two years, and a snack shop at the mall for almost two years.
i'm big on longevity hehe . . . i don't like to change things up and i usually don't change jobs unless a job becomes unbearable (in the case of village inn), unprofitable (in the case of the snack shop--not enough hours), or if i have to leave (in the case of the grocery store, since i graduated and got this job).

Wow that is impressive. Most people only stay with McDonalds for a few months. When do you get to move up to the fry machine? I hear that's when the big bucks start coming in.

Gah Tik thats what I need to do, take a nice vacation~ I still had like 8 days of vacation left last year (technically, not that I couldnt do whatever the fuck I want pretty much anyways), and only took 2 sick days >< Taken a half of a vacation day so far this year and no sick days yet. I could just pack shit up and go if I wanted to, but shit wont get done and its my own and my old man's asses that get bitten if it doesnt. Maybe I'll take a week for huntin season or something

I have been at this job for a little over 6 years... then again my job is to be at home with my kids. Best job I have ever had. Hubby works his ass off so that we make enough for me to be able to stay at home, but its much better than putting my kids in day care. I'd much rather be here with them and not miss important things in their childhood.
