Welcome to 4 weeks ago.

It is also highly unlikely that the guy is dead. They quickly decided not to sell the dvd of his antics as a tribute upon learning that doing so under those pretenses was illegal.

Could be a hoax just like the Ralf hoax.

We ever figure out if ralf was in fact a hoax?

It would have to be a very elaborate lie. Someone contacted someone at his company and said the part-owner had died in a car crash.

That is a pretty ballsy thing to say about a guy who was fairly dedicated to his business, sharing his real life stories, and making fun of people like you on this board. As well as his in game habits in WoW, and then all of the sudden disapears.

that and his ebay seller account suddenly cancelled
people don't tend to walk away from 1000+ positive ratings when that's your business

Ralf didn't make fun of me, ya retard. And furthermore, I'm the one who called the Orange County Coroner's Office to find out if anyone had died as the result of a car accident in Ralf's age range. She told me no deceased persons in his age range came through their system. I also checked the Orange County Register newspaper obituaries, and that too yielded no registered deaths of anybody Ralf's age around the time that he supposedly died. So, I have every reason to believe that this was just a hoax, or he got involved with something so embarrassing that he had to leave the NT abruptly.

Don't you find it rather odd that his best friend (I forgot his NT name at the moment) also stopped posting around the same time? So, no... what I said was not in the least bit "ballsy."

Oh, I also checked the L.A. Times and San Diego Sun Obits for the same information just in case he supposedly died in L.A. or San Diego County rather than where he lived in Orange County.

You do know newspaper obits are paid for by the family, right? Not everyone that dies gets an obit...especially if they are buried in another state, which Ralf most likely was.

Goosse had stopped posting long before Ralf disappeared. He's got his own business to run.

As for the coroner's office....didn't we discover that if he died in the hospital (which is what was said) he wouldn't have gone to the coroner's office but straight to a morgue?

I still think it's a BS story. It would be nice if Goosse came back and provided more details so we can validate it. With what any of us know here provided by Ralf's company or Goosse... the story doesn't hold much merit.

Goose did come on here post Ralph's disapearance and confirm it. As well as me personally questioning him in game (Everquest). I played with him frequently during the time and after. But I suppose with your logic he could been in on the hoax too? Just give it a rest, this shit has long been blown over and it's unfortunate to even think about the possibility of someone we all knew and enjoyed, dying so abrubtly.

And as for having something so embarassing happen to him resulting in the immediate abscence, what could possibly be that self-inflicting online? Taxx married a mangina online and has still been here 8 straight years, if that doesn't stretch it I don't know what the fuck does. Ralph came to make us all laugh, extremely frequently with almost everyone of his posts. He created guilds, websites, all kinds of time consuming aids to his addiction to gaming, as well as his dedication to the boards and others he may have visited. Then one day, he disapears from everything? Who is he trying to hoax on the internet? One day he's going to show up and say gotcha and everyone is going to laugh?

Wake the fuck up.

I doubt Goosse would be in on a hoax like that. This isn't 6-7 years ago when they were getting petitioned in LOIO for /ooc spamming.

1. Goose stopped posting a LOOONG time before Ralf
2. Most people that new Ralf * ryan* outside of the douchebaggery on NT he dropped off the face of the earth
3. Obits dont mean that much, as I am pretty sure they dont cover every single death in the city
4. His Business completly stopped functioning... thats kinda odd.
5. coming from someone like Ryan, wouldn't a hoax like this actually be him being topped off by him logging into his own death thread - and calling everyone faggots for posting that gay shit and how it made his dick soft to read it
6. what the fuck does it matter? Why does this require some sort of Mary Kate and Ashley supersluething

I think the bible beater is right. I've read far more fucked up shit on this board than the possibility of a faked death.

Well, you have your opinion Mop, and other people have their opinion. Ryan talked quite a bit about doing drugs... cocaine in particular. It's very possible he got busted on some drug charge and is now in prison for a couple years. That possibility lends way more credence as to Ryan's disappearing act than Goosse chiming in to say that Ryan died as the result of a car accident. But if you want to believe that he's dead, that's your business. Based on the fact that there's no public record of his death I have a strong feeling that this was indeed a distasteful hoax that does in fact warrant "supersleuthing."

much as i would like to believe that he's still alive, it's just been too long and there are too many things piling up the other way :(
