Lets say that you were on a mens bowling leauge, and the captain (who happens to be your boss) buys you a bowling shirt, but it is way to small, and you dont want to hurt his feelings by not wearing it, but you also dont want to wear it and have your tire hanging out of the bottom of your shirt?

Apparantly he spent quite a bit of money on these shirts, and they are polo, not button up so the wear a tshirt underneath and wear it unbuttoned theory is out

You're bucking for a promotion and recognition, right? Go to your boss and ask if maybe you picked up someone else's shirt.

Ummmmmm, its a mens bowling league, so it is not me, and I already got the promotion. Its my little brother. I don't have a spare tire to hang out of the bottom of my shirt. Thanks, Martrae.

Ok........then HE should go to his boss and ask if maybe he picked up the wrong shirt....

Geezus, Kizzy, it's a somewhat tactful way of telling his boss the shirt won't fit without calling his boss an idiot.

Hi. I know this shirt has my name on it, but are you sure you gave me the right one? That would be insulting the mans intelligence.

"Hi, this shirt doesn't fit, is there any way to exchange it?"

And where did you say the shirt had his name on it?

Go with Toss's answer since anything I say is apparently not ever gonna be right.

honestly it'd be hard not to question a man's intelligence who bought a med-large shirt for someone who's 2x. that's the difference between mother theresa and paris hilton's vagina there, you'd have to be an idiot not to know the difference.

I dunno, paris hilton's vag is probably so beat up it looks 90 years old

that being said, you're being particularly difficult today kizzy

any of the above would have worked fine, and I'm not sure why this is even an issue

Show up to work with a wrist brace on and complain of mild carpal tunnel, and alas, ones inability to bowl this year.

Have you been extremely stressed lately Kizzy? If so, it shows in...Every single one of your recent posts?

Martrae what, knows you from the 6 pictures in your profile, and not knowing the extent of your appearence completely, you fire back without providing any exclusive details as to the person in your original post. You sound like Gargamellow.

Actually, we did meet about a year and a half ago, but a lot can happen to someone's appearance in that amount of time.

As well as their ability to post coherent threads without questioning a reasonable situation and then following up every one of them with nazi letters.

You mean, address it like an adult?!?!?! Toss how dare you go that route.

Toss is right, say hey this shirt doesnt fit. Boss or not, do you really think he is going to get his panties in a bunch if that is asked?

by The Kizzy
Well, he thinks he would get his panties in a buinch, so he is wearing it without complaint. I guess I should have known better than to come to a board full of asses and ask a question without giving reasonable background information

What a pussy. If he continues to wear a shirt that obviously doesn't fit him, it will do more to harm his reputation that it would if he just said "It doesn't fit". His boss will think he is spineless. Tell him to grow a pair and ask for a new shirt.

I recommend a strategy of strong passive-aggressivism to remedy this situation.

He came home before teh bowling and modeled the shirt. It wasn't as bad as he said. Its one of those really stretchy golf shirts that captures the sweat. A million tiny holes in it, so it is meant to fit snug. He just doesnt like snug. He looked fine.

No, you should know that you need to provide the base line necessary backround information regardless of who the hell you're talking to, board of NT'ers or not. Otherwise you'll end up being offended anyway.
