my friend's ex-stepbrother ran into him on the street downtown on his skate board and they fought. yesterday morning my friend woke up at 8am to the cops knocking on his door. They politely took him to jail.

I was at a late night pizza joint after the bar closed (last call in MA is 2am)

I refused a ride home from a friend, she was the last to see me. Snippet from the report was "suspect was seen fleeing from the scene with a weapon".

Best guess is I looked like a fisherman back from a trip (they carry LARGE wads of cash regularly, and three boats pulled in that night) so I got mugged for cash, and all they got was a large case of someone who can defend themselves.

Apparently, I can't defend myself THAT well , if that is what happened. Though that is my best guess.

I simply got the shit kicked out of me for whatever reason.

I DO know it was with more than fists. Either way, I learned my lesson and will start carrying my knife again. (I stopped last week)

As soon as possible, I will have my license to carry. This is one fucked up area like I've been saying.

Also, sorry that happened to you. If I were you though, I'd forget about carrying a knife around with you. If you're not trained in using a knife, a street fighter might just take it from you and shove it up your ass. You'd be much better off taking self-defense classes, such as Haganah.

Looks about as bad as this one time last year when I got bruised up pretty good, minus the head stitches. It took 2 beer bottles to the back of my head to get me to even get off the guy >< This was a big brawl though, 15-20 guys. I tried to stay out of that shit, but a stray punched got me, and I guess that set me off Some guy tried to stab me that night, thats why I normally stay out of that kind of shit. Just so happens the bars I like to go to, kinda carries that stuff with it. I havent got in any scuffles since then, except the night I ran into the guy that tried to stab me
