I was thinking something outside of the traditional shower head. Maybe like a rainfall or something. Would be even more cool to somehow make it into a double head system.... not sure.

lol I don't know about you, but I would never be able to get the shampoo outta my hair with a "rainfall". Not too often I have seen rain fall with enough force to get down to the scalp ...

well I love shower heads. I bought one that has two heads, so that I can hang one on the opposite wall, which gives me two shower heads coming from two directions. in the winter when it's colder I like this so that I don't ever get chilly bumps in the shower (while I am trying to shave.)

it's also nice because the second one is detachable =)

Funny you mention that. We are having a silent auction at work for some $300 shower heads. Really nice ones with the huge heads etc. I can put a bid in for you if you like.

Personally I love the showerheads that are kinda ghetto.

They just end up spraying out a high pressure mist more than anything. When you've got sore muscles and/or feel filthy from being out all day, there is nothing more relaxing to me.

I would like a bid. when is the auction?

My shower rocks. It's got 3 heads. Two are at chest/back level and produce a high pressure mist that feels like needles and the one above is huge and can be tuned to mist or do a pulsing massage type spray.

Makes me want to go take a shower right now.

You can trade out the one you have now, just put back the old one before you move out.

i just don't want to mess with any of the hardware or anything in my apartment . . . the complex managers have really stringent guidelines for inspection and i just don't want to run the risk of messing anything up.

/shrug they just screw on and off, but I can understand your point about not wanting to mess anything up.
