From Blizzard.com

These are the announced changes we're planning in 2.3 for the Shaman class.

Shamanistic Rage will reduce all damage taken by 30% for the duration-

Frost Shock no longer subject to diminishing returns-

Two handed weapons trainable (axes/maces) for Shaman and a new talent elemental focus added-

New relics being added for Shaman, Paladins, and Druids-

Lightning Overload, Mana Spring Totem, Water Shield, Elemental Focus, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Overload, Lightning Mastery

Ok this will probably result in me dropping Nature's Swiftness and getting Shamanistic rage back, hell yes, 30% dmg reduction for 30 seconds. I wonder if that is all dmg or just melee?

Buff?

Elemental bolt coefficient is getting raped, minimal of -150 damage to every elemental shaman right off. They then give that damage back to you in the form of LO, which only means you've got to spec 40 points in to see some of the damage you were already getting.

It;
- crushes any kind of neat builds you could do (30-0-31, etc) and forces you into a single cookie cutter build
- solves threat problems that we don't have outside of 5-man instances
- help efficiency issues that intelligently geared players didn't face
- reduces the number of "good" talents a PvP spec elem shaman can take by cornering them into talent choices
- offers a minimum of a 4-6% damage decrease for elemental PvE players

Hancement is trash for PvP regardless of some lame defensive talent (which is fully dispellable currently.) I find it laughable that the other changes to hance were not done over a year ago. 2 handers by default? Thanks, now I can invest that point in something useful. Like toughness.

Frost shock off of DR? I don't know to say "thanks for giving back what we already had" or keep asking why it was the only snare on DR.

I could go on.
