Dual monitors

I should have never waited this long to run a dual monitor setup. I wonder if there's tools out there specifically to play around with this. I.E. attempting to run something in fullscreen on the left monitor and able to manipulate programs on the other monitor without losing focus on the previous full-screen program (causing it to come out of full-screen)

I never have problems with keeping full screen open on one monitor and multiple other apps on the other.

lots of games don't play nice with multiple monitors, WoW being one of the very few exceptions to that

ultramon, I thought that was the utility that gave you a different task bar for each monitor?

It also allows you to switch windows back and forth easily between your monitors and a few other things. It really won't help with full screens minimizing but it's a cool tool, nonetheless.

um
you need 3 tvs
3 xboxs
3 copies of the game
that's not really a good way to do it

Well, it's the ONLY way to do it so what's your point? If you can figure out how to do it with 1 of each, let me know.

Is there any way to get two different desktop backgrounds on dual monitors?

I have a 8600 gt with two monitors here at work. How do I do it?

you just need to turn on the nvidia desktop profile thing (i'm sitting in a cisco course with some shitty laptop they provided, so don't have stuff in front of me atm)
then assuming you're running dualview and not clone, you should be able to set uyp each monitor seperately

Can't you use multiple monitors on a PC with the same setup, only requiring one copy of the game?
I haven't really tried it, but I know my 8800 GTX can support multiple monitors.

well of course
you've been able to do up to like 9 monitors with some of the flight sims for a long time
but don't tell tossica, since he's an xbox whore!

Yeah, because buying 3 $300 video cards and a $3000 PC with enough horsepower to be able to support the cards and the game would be a much better way to handle it. Why spend $1000 on something when you can spend $4000 on it? Not that there are many people out there running multiple 360's in this config, it's just some thing cool you COULD do if you had enough money.
