ever watch Steve Young try not bawlk, eye-roll and laugh Irvin out of the studio? it's painful.

Phil Simms is awesome
Boomer Esiason is terrible (everything always somehow goes back to boomer!)

Howie Long is great, Deion is terrible

Tom Jackson is fantastic

Terrell Davis is horrible
Rod Woodson doesn't speak particularly well, but usually says something meaningful, or at least, says something incredibly mean/funny to Terrell which makes him worth being on tv

Between Deion and Emmitt Smith, they've set the movemnet back like 400 years

that trend has certainly run its course. hopefully they are starting to test these guys out and figure if they even understand the game that they gained some bit of fame for playing and if they can communicate that understanding above a 4th grade language level.

that's just a tonal thing tho

at least what he says is meaningful, and adds to the games

Troy Aikman is getting to be not bad too, especially now that all his stories don't go back to the Dallas days

ESPN as a whole has gone downhill for announcing and analysis. They used to be good, but now I can't stand their football pregame, or their announcers.

I hate ESPN's announcers and I just tolerate CBS's. I enjoy Fox announcers the most. Deion Sanders has always and will always be an idiot.
