Ron Paul makes me lolzer..

Best question of the debate.. What Federal Programs would you cut...

Paul says "All of them."

He's nuts, but he's got Chutzpah... :2m16:

what's even better is that two days ago someone called in to the local abc radio station here and asked the host what ron paul would do in WWI..

the host takes another caller and puts him on in order to answer the question, which is full of history..

Then after last night's rally here in Charleston I went to the Ron Paul meetup and talk to the caller who was on for that discussion. He said that they had already thought of this question, and had discussed the answer for the *possiblity* it would be asked.

I laughed my ASS off tonight when they played a youtube question that asked Ron Paul what he'd have done in WWI.

Dylan, the guy who took the WWI question and predicted it would be the one question someone would ask..was absolutely right.

CNN got a bit jabowned post debate.

The retired gay general they gave a question and live rebuttal time to is part of Hillary's steering committee. Oops!

The first person they talked to in their undecided Republican voters segment about who they'd vote for in their primary said John Edwards. Nice Republican there, CNN!

Half the videos they chose, which were woefully pigeonholed into immigration and homosexuality were from Democratic activists!

Not to mention their post debate analysis.. With 5 Democrats and 1 Republican. Nice! I guess they only have one who works there.

The more I hear Ron Paul, the more I think he's a pussy, a tool, and a loose cannon.

I have to disagree completely. I believe he's a man of conviction with strong ideals and more knowledge of the US constitution than every other candidate combined. Being strongly libertarian minded I love a lot of what he says.

Unfortunately, a voice of change in a sea of partisanship, pork, and power won't be heard, especially with the media embedded into our current system, and aligned with the status quo. Paul has yet to be given a fair shake in any debate.

I think he's gotten a fair shake. He just got Mcpwned by McCain in that video too. I do agree with a lot of what he says, but he just doesn't have that presidential look or a charismatic aura. He looks to me like he has a complete lack of confidence. The way he carries himself, and the way he talks, is not very admirable imo. A leader has certain attributes that make people look up to him/her. Ron Paul lacks a LOT of that, unfortunately. I know he doesn't have what it takes to beat most of the other candidates.

you're wrong, he didn't get owned AT ALL...they were booing McCain for asking that question.

you judging the way he looks and carries himself is about as ignorant as the ones that are gonna vote for Hillary for being a woman.

nice job.

I saw him speak and had the chance to see him in action and he's full of energy and confidence. You're talking and criticizing about things you don't know and being awfully judgmental on the surface. You've said nothing about his platforms.

I can't argue candidates with someone who doesn't like the way a person looks or carries themselves.

How a person looks and carries themselves has more validity than you're letting be believed.

Araby, I know you really like Ron Paul... don't take my assessment as an attack against you. I call it as I see it. /hugs

the way they should do these elections, is that it's a blind vote

the candidate writes out their platform

you never know who's is who's

you vote for the platform

That sounds like a good idea. I just see so much that could go wrong with that, politically.

Who decides what your platform is? The candidate, or a "neutral" third party?

At its base form, your idea sounds wonderful. The way politics really are, ruins that idea.

I didn't take it personally. Just calling it as I see it, also.

Around Raleigh there's a true grassroots drive for Ron Paul. You can't go 100 yards down any of the highways around here without passing a homemade sign for him.

It's easy to grab a premade sign for your candidate and put it in your yard. It takes true dedication to make up 100s of posters and pillowcases (yes pillowcases) and attach them to stakes or hang them from overpasses.

we've got a great group of supporters here...they're hard core and mean business. when I picked up signs/literature from Headquarters the head of the campaign was practicing singing a christmas carol they made up for him...and the big guy is coming Tuesday night...they take this very seriously, it's pretty exciting.
