It's nice to see in todays sports someone who is a stand up guy like LT, you never hear about him getting into trouble, or anything like that. That actually stands for something and is appreciative of others. I'm a Denver fan so I hate this guy on the field but he's a classy guy.

i had a good friend named latorcia through middle and high school.... you must have not grown up around black people...

we had 1 black kid in grade 4, then not another until I hit highschool
that family all had names like Richard, Jason, marie, etc
Here, we mostly have natives with the odd names

aaaahhh. that's right. the latest odd black name i have run into is "Satisfield" it's a Dude. and it's a first name.

From what I'm told, LT is a very modest guy and a good person. He may have learned it from his dad who died not long ago. I guess his dad pretty much lived in a shack and didn't want charity from his son's fame.

I had the same reaction to that name Tikker when I watched the 60 minutes spot on LT. Hell LaDainian is pretty damn terrible as well. One shudders to think what they will name their children. However he seems to be a really great guy, I found it very refreshing compared to what you usually hear about professional athletes. His family seemed very down to earth as well.
