had the interview today, and Jonathan's green card will be here in 2 weeks. yay!

well of course, i wouldn't have it any other way!
we were so stressed out about the interview man, had all these documents and all this information because they sent him some big ass checklist of stuff to bring and the guy talked for like 2 minutes and then said ok you should get the card in about 2 weeks.
well that was anti climactic.
with any luck we can move to orlando by april~

Congratulations Gypsiee
A friend recently did that process with her now-husband from Czech Republic, and they were incredibly nervous till everything was done. A mistake in the process is bad news.

Thanks, and yes we're very relieved =) sad Jono spent so much on that worthless lawyer when she didn't do anything I hadnt already done extensive research on myself (and then she had the balls to try and charge 50 bucks for paper, PAPER, a standard office expense! after charging us 3500 already with only 20 minutes of work she did!) but in the end the result is what we wanted, and it's a good christmas gift to be sure =)

Lawyers are worthless. I spent $7K on my divorce lawyer and ended up with exactly what I would have had I represented myself entirely.
