is there something wrong with my settings or are the graphics supposed to suck? this question also goes for RE4

is there something wrong with my settings or do the buttons not play in time with the song? if i increase the lag adjustment to about 155ms i can play WITH the songs (i.e. with the exact timing of the original part), but the notes coming down the strings have to be hit when they're (visually) dropping off the screen

is there something wrong with my settings or is it supposed to be monaural?

it just seems like they rushed it out the door with little to no QA testing. i didn't think the third game would suffer that much with the departure of the redoctane team but i guess maybe i was mistaken?

also imho the song selection sucks

but that has nothing to do with the mechanics about which i'm complaining

What kind of TV are you playing it on?

In general, the graphics on the Wii suck. They look like PS2 games to me but as far as GHIII goes, I played it at a friends house for a while and my son, who is REALLY good at it played it as well and it didn't seem off to me and he didn't complain so.... I think you've got it set up wrong.

I've hard there are some problems playing on an HD TV. I've not experianced any problems on mine just running though component cable on a standard def TV. If anything the game is more forgiving on hitting a note a quarter sec to soon or late.

I personally like the song list although there are some crappy songs, like every one of the bonus tracks pretty much blow san's Though Fire and Flames.

i am playing it on a 32" LG HDTV, i have component cables so i can boost the wii's output res to 480p

i know the wii graphics are ps2 equivalent, but these graphics look bad even by those standards

i have messed with the lag adjustment a ton, and if it's set at zero i have to play the notes a half-second before you hear them or they don't work.. and if i go to 150ms compensation i can play the notes exactly where you hear them. i wonder if this is just an inherent problem with HDTVs? i don't know how else to fix this problem!

i also did a quick google search and it seems sometime next month they will be doing free trade-ins for stereo versions

seriously, wtf? i can understand a bug here or there, or a minor shortcut on graphics, but how do you not notice that the entire game is in mono?

I don't know man. It didn't look THAT bad to me. Not near as good as the 360 version but the graphics were passable. See if you get better results running 480i via the composite cable. Maybe your TV has trouble scaling to it's native res via component. I've hooked the Wii up to both my HDTV's and had no problems with it. As far as mono soundtrack goes, I didn't notice at my buddies house but it was just coming through the TV speakers.

I noticed some weird graphic glitches in RE4 tonight. Some of the areas in game have green blockish looking artifacts. Other areas are fine. The first time I noticed it was on my way to get back on the gondola/lift thing after fighting the big boss in the barn.

Try hooking it up via the RCA cables just to see if that helps.

Ok so I play for the first time in months (I let Aryylas borrow GH2 and I never saw it again)

I can still play on hard but it's going to take some work to get to expert again. (on the songs that matter)

I don't think I'll ever get to expert on Through the Fire and Flames.

I've got two of those zapper things. Makes the light gun games way better.
