There were 98 "Crime Alerts" issued for the year of 2007 including attempted murder/rape/sexual assault/assault amongst other offenses.

Out of those 98 , the race of the suspect was unavailable for only 17 incidents.

The rest? lol

7 were committed by Caucasians, or 8.6%.
4 were committed by Hispanics, or 4.9%.
2 were committed by Asians, or 2.5%.
68 were committed by Blacks, or 84.0%.

The student body of 2007 University Of Berkeley Freshman is comprised of 37% Asian and Pacific Islander; 32%Caucasian; 12% Chicano/Latino; 3% Filipino, 3% percent African American; 1% Native American and 4.6% "other"

Not really a good post, Harri. Generally, most urban area's with a high percentage of poor, uneducated minorities will have a good chunk of criminal charges against blacks. That's akin to looking at Iraq, and claiming that 99.8% of the suicide bombers are all Muslims, so the Muslims are bad!

A better post would be how to get urban and poor area's to have less crime, more opportunity, and better social setups to allow for advancement, prosperity, and less crime.

Berkeley is around 15% blacks.

It is, however, immediately adjacent to Oakland, which has an extremely high percentage.

So you hold caucasions to a higher standard? You'd pretty much have to in order to be dissapointed in caucasions more than others.

Another point - caucasions generally are more succesful compared to other races almost everywhere in the world. Where does ignorance come into play here?

if you're counting the success of caucasians in australia, most european countries, and 2/3 of north america, well no kidding - that's a ton of countries that are comprised of a majority of whites. that's by no means 'most everywhere in the world' especially if you do just a little bit of research on the population percentages of those areas to other continents

i'm no demographic or census expert, but considering the success of an overwhelming number of asian populace, including the size of china alone, cite your source. factor in africa, south america, and the rest of asia, and i think you have a fantastic recipe for bullshit stew.

i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the answer to your question is that it's pure ignorance
