I honestly didn't really think there was anyone on the giants team that stood out over everyone else

that's probably the best all round team effort I've seen in a LONG time

i really have no allegiance (holy crap did i spell that right? i'm going stupid i think) to either team, but as i was watching the game with josh and his brother, i found myself rooting for the giants b/c they were going for the pats. it was a lot of fun to watch the underdogs kick tom brady's ass and then hear the boys cry about it haha :D plus eli manning is way cuter than tom brady

anyhoo, bottom line is it was a pretty awesome game and it kept me riveted to the TV for the whole thing, which usually only happens for nebraska games . . . or sometimes texas tech games when alex is watching them b/c the QB is hot :P

I yelled, screamed, cried, lost my voice, all over this game. The Giants DESERVED that win through and through. Their WANT for the win was more, IMO.

Both teams played to their best. We fell short

Wonder how much the Pats not getting to tape the opposing team's walkthrough this time impacted the outcome...

I don't know... except for the last 5 minutes, that was boring ass Super Bowl. The Giants D was pretty amazing though. Too bad their offense didn't do more or they could have really kicked the Pats ass.

bravo for taking the high road, man. it's good to see a pats fan who can admit that someone else played better than they did rather than discredit the winning team.

I stopped watching after the 3rd quarter because the game was just boring me to tears and I was embarrassed for the pats, just nothing was happening. I'm happy the 4th quarter turned around and was more exciting, but I was happily snoozing by then.

I was rooting for the pats, but I'm glad to see Eli has the chance now to burst out of the family shadow and show people that he's just as worthy of the attention.

After the first half I started cleaning up around the house and didn't watch again (TV was tuned in of course so I could hear when people got excited) until the late 4th.

There were so many points where I felt the Giants we done for, but they just kept answering the bell. That 4th down where the guy didn't get off the field on the punt especially, then they force 3 and out again.

Pretty legendary defensive performance. Boring...but legendary.
