I had this attached to the Obama thread, but I felt it deserves its own. This clearly explains the inflation problem. Just look at Bernanke's smirk while Ron Paul is calling it out. He knows he is right. But everyone just stands back laughs and calls it crack pot. Why doesn't anyone listen to this man!?

Why do I doubt you actually have a clue what was discussed, and you're just following Zan and
your unsubtle troll M.O.?
Ya know, If you actually made a rationale post, hell might freeze over.
I like Paul. He's a good guy and I agree with him on many issues. I disagree with his attacking Ben Bernanke, an administration official with no actual ability to change the gold standard or the methodology of the government, which falls under the purview of congress, where Paul himself resides.

His point was that the things Bernanke is/was doing were actually contributing to the depression we're falling into.
Also, by getting Bernanke to agree with his basic points in front of congress he was hoping to open the door for something substantial to done before it's too late. However, Congress are a bunch of brainless twits that can't see farther than their next reelection so it won't work.
