Care to guess on the release date? el oh el.

Looks sweet, I was checking the Blizzard splash page everyday trying to figure out what it was going to reveal... the ice really made me think WoLK, I'm pleasantly surprised! Wonder what the other 3 classes will be?

Well, might be more than 5 classes. The devs at the panel said it was undetermined how many classes there would be at this time. So....

And ye gods, look at the gameplay video. Destroying walls to crush enemies. Randomly generated dungeons. Wall of Zombie (!!!). Buffable pets. Cooperative multiplayer. Player specific loot drops off bosses. (basically, each player sees a loot drop, that's specific to them and them only, that no one else sees, to prevent the old "fastest connection gets the crap" problem)....

Oh yeah, they're going to make a dollar or two.

lol I know, SC2, D3 and WoLK... talk about money. The FAQ said 5 characters, maybe that's just at release then they might add a few more with an xpac?

diablo 1 was fantastic as a mindless hack fest on lan. diablo 2 disappointed me greatly. beat it on "nightmare" first day i bought it and returned it

Playing Diablo 2 on singleplayer is dumb.

I loved both Diablo and Diablo 2... including the expansion packs. I can't wait for this... likely going to use it as an excuse to buy a new PC.

It's a multiplayer oriented game. Playing Diablo 2 singleplayer is like playing counterstrike with bots. Fucking stupid...

finawin's 100% right... diablo 2 can only be played on the ladder on b.net...

if you beat it on nightmare and think you've seen all that game has to offer you're wrong... if you play non-ladder or single player you can't even access all the content or rune words. try the secret areas (not the cow level) or uber tristram sometime

brilliant game. it's no wonder why so many people still play it and they still reset the ladders to keep it competitive. i think the only thing i can't stand about D2 is the fucked up system for keeping your friends lists and talking to them all. so archaiac

i can't wait til D3 comes out. i was hoping they'd make that instead of WoW, SC2, WC3, etc etc, so I'm glad they're finally doing it

The mods are what made diablo sooooo good. I forget the name but it was something like ancestral recall.

i apparently have only seen the single player and thought it was just button smashing maybe i will look into d3. it looks pretty fly.

ya d2 was ridiculously easy til Hell and beyond... you can make any char setup and beat the game thru nightmare. if you don't build your char correctly Hell will wtfpwn you and you'll never see the elite content. think this is me and my friend's 3rd set of ladder chars due to resets and we're still barely scratching the surface of the end-game... we haven't got ourselves torches or Enigma or anything -.-
