SUCH FUCKING BULLSHIT

it's like they remove strength of schedule from the equation when factoring USC's ranking

Strength of schedule was out about 4 years ago.

FOXSports wrote:Oh the coaches do love USC. Ranked fourth in the USA Today Poll but fifth in the Harris, it's almost as if the loss at Oregon State didn't really happen. The computers like the Trojans at the moment because of the win over Ohio State, but if the Buckeyes lose to Penn State this week, everything could change. The margin between USC and an unbeaten Oklahoma State is razor-thin, but that doesn't really matter. USC needs to win out impressively, needs Penn State to lose and probably needs the SEC or Big 12 champion to have two losses.

they always get away with this shit ;\

What makes me sick is if OSU drubs PSU this weekend, we're back on track for a USC or OSU back in the championship. I don't see Texas making it through OkSU and Tech without a loss.

Was really hoping BYU would have made it undefeated to stir the pot.

one thing all the talking heads seem to agree on is that anyone who survives the big 12 south undefeated WILL play for the title

GUNS UP WRECK 'EM TECH

Im just glad those fucking WVU Mountaineers didnt luck their way through a season to be ovverrated and top 10 like they did last year. Those fucking losers cant even get top 25 this year hardly after me having to hear those idiot wvu fans around here scream about how they have a BCS champ bid this year allll fucking summer and spring. Fuck those losers

Texas is a monster this year. If TT doesn't beat them this coming weekend I would bet money they'll be hosting a spot in the NC. And, I beleive they'll detroy whoever they end up facing. PSU has a pretty lame schedule for ther rest of the season and Bama's gotta face LSU yet.

If Bama loses to LSU (which I am giving them a 50/50 shot) then it may very well be Texas and PSU in the NC. If Bama wins then it'll likely be Texas and the Tide - with Texas coming out way on top.

Of course anything can happen between now and then... Hell it could turn out to be a Texas Tech / USC game...

Great thing about college is you just never know.

Yeah, UT is looking freaking unstoppable. Tech has only played 1 ranked team, #23 Kansas this past week, weak sauce, i can't imagine they will have guns blazing against UT's D.... but Tech can strike hard and fast, which is dangerous psychologically

Also, Tech has #1, #9, and #4 in 3 CONSECUTIVE weeks..... :eyecrazy:

talk about saving it all for the end

ehhhh texas hasn't looked invincible. yeah they're winning against games like OU, mizzou, and OKSU, but they're not completely dominating anyone. a lot of people minimize the effect of a spread offense, because so many teams have switched to it recently, but no one does it as good as tech.

the two differences for tech this year have been their defense and their running game. if the same D that held KU to 21 points (14 in the first quarter) shows up this week for UT, and the run game continues to be a legitimate factor, i predict a statement win and a huge surge in the polls.

Both Texas Tech and Florida jumped up in the latest rankings. The top seven are Alabama, Tech, Penn State, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, and USC.

i think we can take okie state. they barely beat us in stillwater last year, before we got our new D-Coordinator installed and got our running game together. this year it's in lubbock though, and our guys are gonna be fired up after destroying* texas.

it's oklahoma i'm worried about ;\

*for the first three quarters hehe

Penn State lost to Iowa so they probably are out of contention for the championship.
