we went and saw my best friend from hs get far too drunk at a very unfortunate time, being as she found out that very day that her husband cheated on her.
much of the night was spent wishing she would stop sitting at the tables of strangers and telling the story - not because she doesn't deserve the right to be boisterous and angry, but moreso because her husband was with us too, and it was pretty uncomfortable

we went to a 7:45 showing of saw v (it was so-so) and then went bar-hopping. i wore a pair of devil horns and josh was the guido from "my new haircut," lol . . . he wore a half-buttoned shirt with a beater underneath, spiked his hair up to the ceiling, wore a gold chain, and had a couple of power bars sticking out of his shirt pocket. i couldn't convince him to let me put orange bronzer all over him, though. bummer. he drank heinekens all night and we both took jager bombs at one of the bars. it was pretty lol

OH and then when we got home, our roommate had a girl over who was PSYCHO DRUNK and threw our dog against the stove, poured liquor on the floor (because she wanted the dog to drink it), and threatened to kill josh. we kicked her out quite handily.

holy crap leah, that sounds like something that would happen in MY life not yours!! jesus.
my friend was joe the plumber. I was Ashley Todd and wore a Tennessee orange sweatshirt, blackened my eye and wrote with red the backwards letter "B" on my face.
We were pretty funny.

I hung at home handing out candy, the wife and I deck the house out a good bit, I'd go so far to say we were the scariest house in the hood. We get sirens at 6:00pm to "start" and then sirens again at 8:00 to "end".
I hurt my foot a while back and sometimes walking just agrivates it so she took the kids out.
Devils night we had some friends over to carve pumpkins, there weren't as good as they normally are but I'll see if I can get a pic and post them up.

wtf Leah, I wouldn't have had the restraint to just kick her out. I fully would've turned the stove on then bashed her head into it.
I want to see Saw V just to see what the hell they can possibly do with it next, but I'm not sure it's worth seeing it after the debacle that was Saw IV

My sisters and I took the kids out trick or treating but it was pretty much a bust. In our area of Maryland, a lot of the communities are these planned types with HOAs and they have these canned corny events so door to door trick or treating is apparently not the thing anymore. We wanted to fight the power and do it the old way but it didn't work out so well! Anyway the kids were sick and ready to go home either way so they got a bit of candy, went to McDonald's for some nuggets and then went home. Next year we plan to hit Capitol Hill in DC because they really do the trick or treating thing there, it's just like the old days.

I took my son out for candy
he was a ninja, and he'll be 4 at Chrifsmas, so this is really the first halloween where he understood what was going on
on the way to the first house, he saw another little guy in a scooby doo costume (he's a scooby fan too)
anyway, Alex got to the house first, got some candy then on the way back down the path stops in front of the other little guy
he then flexes out Hulk Hogan style and hollers "I GOT ALL THE CANDY, NONE LEFT FOR YOU! MUWAHAHAHA"
he did that for the next 4-5 hourse, jeje

haha i know, crazy dramarama. it was kind of awesome but really not. OH and she got the dog so riled up that he bit me REALLY REALLY hard--not a skin-tearing bite, but my hand is bruised and swollen. not cool, drunk chick, not cool.
re: saw v . . . it wasn't bad, really, but i found myself more interested in the premise of the torture scenario of this movie than the storyline regarding the killer. the torturing has a pretty cool twist and it makes you think. the killer storyline is lame AND it's totally left wide open for another sequel. i heard there are seven altogether but maybe it's six. either way, i will see them all just for the sake of following through hehe

My kids were Batman and Spiderman (I wish at times they'd pick something more original lol)
There was this women in the local papers in MI that would only give candy to McCain supporters, if she thought that you or your parents supported Obama, she wouldn't give you anything (what a bitch). Had I known of this before hand, I swear I would have had my kids lie to her face and after they got the candy say, "hey old lady, we're voting for Obama, tricks on you bitch". Well not really of course but I can't say the thought didn't cross my mind.

I thought it was disturbing yet mildly amusing that on Halloween, the night all the local kids go door to door, we received in the mail a notification that a level 3 (high risk of re-offending) sex offender is moving into the neighborhood.
As for what I did... Nothing really. I had a class at noon, then I took a nap during the prime trick or treating hours and avoided needing to answer the door. I lead an exciting life.

stev and i were texting but rendezvous clearly failed. we went to the old cliff's (now called chasers--i even saw mat walk by in full pirate garb and hollered at him but he didn't hear me) and then to brothers (ewwww--we just went there to meet up with ryan for a minute; this is also where he met psycho chick, to the surprise of no one) and then to sandy's.

.. That's awful! I'm not really sure what I'd do if I witnessed someone harming one of my dogs, but I think that'd be one of the few things that would piss me off enough to snap and actually get physical with someone.
