That would be a meteorite, as captured by a police car's video cam, up in Canada. They are looking for a landing site as there is speculation that it didn't completely burn up during entry.

A buddy of mine that does building demolition found a large piece of meteorite that had smashed through the roof of a building causing a small roof fire. The chunk is valued at several thousand $. Nice find to whoever tracks down the landing site!
