Well, without any games played yet, we've had some major news this offseason.
No, not the Jets, Browns or Lions firing their coaches. Those went without saying. No, the really big news hit today (along with more minor news). The minor news today is that the 49ers dumped Martz as OC. Guess Singletary was sincere about going to a run-happy offense instead of pass-happy. (Only makes sense, though, as our best offensive player is a RB).
The REALLY big news, though, is that Denver just fired Shanahan. 14 years of tenure, out on his ass. (hrm, he ran a run-happy offense, has SF ties, wonder if he'd be interested in an OC job.... rofl)
Oh, and a great song that sums up the Dallas Cowpatties season:
Boy, I love to see the Cowpatties implode. /GLEE

As a Steelers fan, not much brings me as much happiness as watching the cowboys choke and die
again
I'm really interested to see how this first week of AFC playoffs shakes out
Indy is hot, I'm not sure I'd want SD in the first round either Baltimore could be good if their offense is mistake free

OK, Atlanta losing to the Cardinals didn't surprise me that much. Probably a better team, but: Rookie QB on the road, etc? Not gonna happen.
What DID surprise the hell out of me, though, was Indy losing to San Diego. I largely blame the Indy defense, though. How many 1st downs did the D give up to SD by penalty during that overtime drive alone? Yeesh.

Other than the 1 play they fell asleep, SD defense completely dominated that game
I was a little surprised to see how poorly the Dolphins played
I'm curious to see Ravens/Titans tho
I don't think SD matches up very well against pittsburgh
I'd LOVE to see a Steelers/Ravens Conference final

Looking forward to seeing the Steelers break Rivers in half, I hate that guy.
I don't like the Steelers either though.
Hoping for a Titans vs. Eagles/Panthers superbowl.

I enjoyed the Dolphins/Jets game a couple weeks ago. I grew up watching Chad in college so im a fan of him, and I havent liked Favre in years and years. He used to be cool, but now hes just a douche bag. Was great to see the Jets tell Chad to fuck off and bring that has been Favre in, then Chad proceeds to hand the Jets their ass. And then he made himself look stupid with 4 interceptions the next game rofl. Not much you can do i guess when the line doesnt help you for shit the whole game. They pressured the living shit out of him

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that game.
Not calling it either way because I think I'm probably 10% accurate this postseason. However... an all-Pennsylvania SB would be pretty cool.

I dunno...I think the Cardinals win at home this week. That place is going to be rocking.
Steelers will beat the Ravens. Cardinals / Steelers superbowl with the Steelers winning big (31-17). Their D will own Warner.

whoever wins the pittsburgh/baltimore game will win the superbowl
(altho, I can almost see a big letdown after that game happening)

I want to see the Ravens win because theres so many steelers fans around here it makes me sick and id love to see them all crying, but then again, I want tthe steelers to win because I have a buddy who for some reason loooooves the ravens, and takes football way to seriously and it gets on my nerves, so id love to see him cry too. So I dont know who should win. hrmmm.

Holy Shit. Cardinals in the Super Bowl.
Wonder what kind of odds you could've gotten in Vegas betting on that happening back in the preseason....

Steelers should be up by quite a bit
I'm kinda leery of the way they're letting the ravens hang around in this one

I saw McGahee spasm his arms on that cart. That, I would think, would be a very bad sign, though he also obviously has motor control of his arms at least somewhat, since he was able to take that guy's hand. Still, that spasm can't be good...
