i'm so haggard from last night i can barely type this

i celebrated with vietnamese and we had great food like chicken feet, pig stomach and quail and just got drunk and danced with my gf. had a beautiful Tất Niên offering at midnight followed by a couple more hours of dancing..... awesome night. no chinese attendees tho i don't think. gonna go do another little party for it tonight, too

Like I said, I don't care if others don't celebrate it. I don't expect anyone else to do so, nor do I expect anyone to care.
I am, and I do.
This year is kind of important to me for other reasons I won't go into here as well, so I am more vocal about it than usual.

kim just told me yesterday that i'm year of the Ox (85). i had no idea. and the description for people born on those years fits me exactly. i've never been partial to astrology or anything like that but that really surprised me

and it is indeed another reason to party. apparently it's the biggest reason to party, too. totally dwarfs christmas

my year is rat, though had i been born two days earlier, i'd have been pig. :D
