I really like San Francisco, actually, though I won't deny it's got it's odd elements. Nowhere else in the US can I see a major town closing off several blocks of a major street once a year for a sexual fetish faire, including booths with all sorts of products for sale, of any kind you can imagine, and almost certainly any number you CAN'T or at least wouldn't want to.

I like it because it's very much got the attitude of "You go ahead and live life your way, whatever that may be, just respect my choices on how I live my life too, OK?" going on.

The city itself is still beautiful. All kinds of different people makes for a very interesting and entertaining place. It's good to be out of your comfort zone once in awhile Mindia.

Plus the fog rolling in in the early evening was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Jay, just because I think the perverts have taken over the city, doesn't mean I'm closed-minded. It's filthy parades such as the one Arlos just mentioned, in addition to other disgusting goings-on in the city that tarnished its image. Mayor Gavin Newsome is a disgusting piece of shit too. I was born and raised in the bay area. I've seen the decay of the city over the years. It was one thing to have titty bars on Broadway... a novelty for guys for generations now. It's quite another to have the open sexual and nudity parades going on. You forget one thing. There are families with children in SF. Children don't need to see that disgusting filth going on in their city, and I'd imagine that at times, it would be hard for them not to see it by accident. Hedonists care nothing about anything or anybody unless it's within their own lifestyle.

I was born and raised in the bay area. We lived about a half hour from the city, and 45 minutes from the city when we moved. I've been to San Francisco about a hundred times. One of the few saving graces of the city are the tourist spots like Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, the Zoo, and a couple other places where the vermin/perverts haven't infiltrated and completely destroyed with their disgusting leftist agendas.
