I won this in a sweepstakes a while back and I'm not into football at all, so maybe someone here would want it? Make an offer, cash or trade (video games, gadgets, whatever). Reply or PM if you're interested.
Not sure who signed it. Mark something. I think he's a commentator/ex-player? Maybe one of you know.

On April 18, 2001, Mark Schlereth announced his retirement. "The reason I came out here today was to announce that I have just signed a six-year, $42 million contract to extend my career with the Denver Broncos. The truth of the matter is, after going through my 15th operation on my left knee last November, it became painfully obvious that I couldn't sign a six-year contract for $42 worth of Tupperware. I started to realize in the last three months of free agency that there is not a lot of market for a 6'3", 245-pound guard that is 35 years old and beat to a pulp." He landed a job with ESPN soon after.

Yeah, the ball does have an $89.99 sticker on it, but I thought that was a bit crazy. It's from a small time sport shop, so I figured maybe the person running the sweepstakes prizes was friends with the owner of the sports shop and had him jack up the price of balls, or something along those lines.

90 bucks isn't bad for a football. I could care less about Schlereth's sig though.
Those balls last for years if you don't let them sit in the rain for a week.
Of course if you don't care about football or don't actually, you know..USE the ball, 90 bucks probably sounds outrageous.
It's like once black, never go back though. After owning one, I couldn't imagine ever having a synthetic leather one anymore.
