I don't ride myself because I'd most likely die on it, however I have a few folks I know that are avid bikers of the non-cruser kind. 1 owns a bmw the others ducatis (sp).

IMO while they are great on gas, if you can't ride it at least 2/3rds of the year, I wouldn't get one.

depends largely if you are a gigantic douchebag ON your crotch rocket....

i have 1 friend who has one and goes on serious rides with friends, goes to tracks, etc... she is cool as shit

all the cro-magnons who ride w/o helmets, jackets, pants and weave through traffic putting everyone on the 5 lane freeway at risk = douchey douche

crotch rockets are a blast to ride, but most only belong on a track imo. there are a lot of riders who are mature enough to handle them, but they definitely attract plenty of uncool douche bags who are plain stupid.

as a side note, i find it odd that any dumbfuck can buy a bike capable of doing a 1/4 mile in under 10 seconds, drive it home WITHOUT a motorcycle license and continue to do for for 30 days [in my state at least], yet our government is concerned enough about my health that i can get a fine for driving without a seatbelt... or arrested for smoking a joint.

That looks closer to a dirt bike if you ask me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd love a dirt bike.

Don't get one Kaiine. With the way retards drive nowadays it's not worth it.

If you do get a bike, do yourself a favor and take the Motorcycle Safety Course (most places have their own bikes). It's well worth the $$. Personally, I would go with the new Harley Nighsters, they have a cool, understated old-school look.

I rode my bike to work for a summer, but living in DC and riding a bike just isnt safe.

Crotch Rockets. Owned a few. i dont drive like a douche however you tend to wanna whine the gears on those. I was doing that one fine summer day on one of the nice twisty roads we have here, Happened to hit a small patch of gravel with the rear wheel. the next thing i knew I was under a pick up and my right leg was and still is a mess.


Go with the norton. Btw Chicks dig nortons for the same reasons they dig harleys.

btw Nortons, triumphs, bmw;s etc being customized into Cafe Racers were the start of the rockets of crotch

crotch rockets are ok if you live in winding hillsides but i really hate seein em drive around downtown or on the interstate

i like the bikes like tossica and brinstar posted as well as harleys and bmws and stuff that are similar style. i'm not really a fan of choppers but i could see the allure of cruising around on one
