I've really become attached to it over the years. When I was young I really didn't care for it.
Now it makes me very sad I'm going to miss most of this season. I'll probably catch the ass end of post-season in AIT if I'm lucky.

loooooved it as a kid. the only thing that could tear me away from a cubs game on a summer afternoon was actual baseball practices/games
i wandered away from it during high school when i became interested in music, and then i didn't care because i didn't have cable for a while
but then i came back and loved it even harder

Never cared much for baseball. Too slow, and you can't see even half of the strategic elements on TV. Going to a game is cool, though still not roaringly exciting.
I just prefer Football and Hockey. I liked Basketball once upon a time, like back in the 80s during the heyday of Lakers and Celtics rivalry, but it devolved by the mid-90s into low-scoring boring drek, and I stopped watching.

I was a huge fan in high school, but had drifted away over the years. I do kinda miss it though during the off season.

Like Arlos said, I fuckin LOVE actually GOING to games, but watching it on TV...I would rather be raped in prison. Ive only been to a couple though, seeing at the nearest places to go are either the Pirates or the Reds

I generally dont watch it much on TV, though every once in a while I like to sit back with a few beers and watch a game. Definitely better to actually be there though.

not much of an option where i live, unless you're a KC Royals fan
it's 7+ hours to denver, 6 to minneapolis, and 10+ to chicago or st. louis

Baseball on TV is made to be a chore sport. Something to walk back to the TV for between laundry loads, yardwork, beating your kids and making dinner.

I did see something that was kinda cool on baseball today on ESPN. Was some pitcher getting lined drived to the fuckin forehead and gettin knocked the fuck out. If baseball games had a bunch of shit like that goin on, or people chargin the mound all the time, I may be able to watch it. He was like...whoooosh fast ball....shit he hit it....shit I cant get out of the way....shit what the fuck just happened...ow ow godamn balls are hard

Comcast moved the A's to another channel that I don't get so now I am stuck with watching the Giants. Since I hate the Giants, I probably skip watching baseball this season.

The guy that got hit in the head is a Giants' pitcher. He has a major concussion and a bunch of mini fractures. He is out a minimum of 6 weeks.

lots of teams for me to like in the AL central
the royals are close to home and my broseph's favorite team
i root for the tribe because they got two of my favorite cubbies during the offseason
i like the twins because they work hard without any megastars
i like the tigers because hey, they're the tigers
basically as long as the white sox get last i'll be happy

i doubt he cares. he hasn't wanted to play baseball for years

based on his contract fishing during the offseason, i bet he does care: he's suspended 50 games without pay, a $7.7M loss
what bugs me about it is how he turned around and blamed his doctor, as if he were somehow exempt from responsibility about what goes into his own body

Yes. I watch, follow, and support the Indians and Browns and local teams here.
My hometown teams are the Padres and Chargers.. I don't claim the Clips anymore since the dirty bastiges left SD...
It helps following a team in the NL and AL.

So Manny is a lazy fuck AND a cheating tool. I never did like him while everyone around here was like, "He's just being Manny. He's not lazy."
Fuck him and his trotting to the bases, lazy outfield faggotry, morale issues within his own team, and now cheating.
