common sense says: coffee is really addictive. alcohol doesn't have bad withdrawals compared to cocaine or heroin. tolerance for cigarettes doesn't really exist. tolerance for cocaine is like double your dosage every day. marijuana, if you're smoking about an 1/8 a day, will give you a really crazy withdrawal actually. blah blah blah. whoever made that has all their facts wrong

the only things on that list i agree with are that nicotine is really addictive and that heroin has a really high tolerance. and maybe some of the stuff about levels of intoxication because i'm assuming they mean loss of motor skills and not "level of highness"

Alcohol doesn't have bad withdrawals? WTF? Sure, not for a casual user, but for an alcoholic (ie, an addict)? Wow, there are some SERIOUS DT issues there. Big time. Can include hallucinations, convulsions, even grand mal seizures, heart attacks, strokes and complete disassociation with reality. (ie, more than just simple hallucinations).

So, wow, yeah, Alcohol is indeed REALLY bad to quit from if you've been a major alcoholic, ie, the same level of alcoholic as someone who smokes an eighth of weed a day regularly. (That's a crazy amount of weed, to be honest.)

Anyway, that chart doesn't seem too inaccurate, from what I've seen and know. I might say Heroin withdrawal is a little worse than what they have listed, but heroin withdrawal cannot kill you, as best I know, though it might make you wish you were dead. Alcohol detox CAN, largely because it can cause your heart to go crazy and your blood pressure to spike to insane levels, thus triggering the aforementioned heart attacks and strokes.

That chart is bullshit. There are absolutely zero physical withdrawl symptoms from Marijuana no matter how much you smoke.

maybe not for you. i was talking with some girl at work that said she got the shakes for the first day. i know whenever i quit i basically withdraw for the first day. it's not like cold sweat crazy cocaine withdrawal, but it's not fun or easy to sleep

Does your friend have Parkinson's? (j/k) I think it's been shown before that while there are some mental hang-ups with pot, as there is with any recurring event in ones life, there are no physical withdrawals.

Also, the chart does not qualify "Withdrawal" to be physical or mental. I just wanted to stress that any recurring event that a body becomes accustom to will generate mental side effects, so as to not isolate pot as the drug with mental side effects :P

I guess if you call "mild irritability" a withdrawal symptom, fine. It's akin to eating lunch every day at noon, then having to switch it to 12:30. It's just an annoying change in routine.

The same people who say they have serious physical withdrawal symptoms from pot probably say they see pink elephants when they're on acid. Meaning they're full of shit.

i would have to say that while that chart isn't 100% accurate it is generally in the ballpark

Looking pretty good :p

Pot is a US cash cow and until the GOV sees that they will continue to waste our money to the tune of billions per year in trying to stop it. What a waste :\
