long story short, one of the really basic building blocks for living cells has been found on a comet. lends credit to earth being "seeded" by various comet/meteorite strikes in the distant past

that's pretty neat.

What would life in space have to do with belief in God? There is no mutual exclusivity there.

Religion is philisophical, and a simple way to discuss truth and the question of why we are here. Material science discusses the laws of nature.

i happen to believe this

no reason Allah couldn't shoot an amino-acid-filled comet onto the earth billions of years ago, and no reason He couldn't do the same on infinite other planets

in fact, no reason He couldn't have called the universe into existence in a big bang either
