I was looking at it until I realized how much it cost in ongoing maintenance for a plane

yes, how many times do I have to post that?
Plane crash in Des Moines IA a couple years back. Jeff something or other, I forget his last name now, so I cannot look up the obituary or article from the crash.

I swear you guys block this out, this is the third time this has come up.
Ginz, hope you don't die, but he was a commercial pilot and he croaked flying privately. I miss him, he used to live here in Omaha, and we never had time to get together

Life is too short, now I am bummed out.

i may have a weekend there, i do not know. I am so superswamped busy these days, I have no idea how any day is going to go from one to the next.
I am building a house in Schuyler NE, two in Omaha, one in Dunlap IA, the Sprint finish in Lincoln, and 4 Sprint remodels in Omaha, and all need to be done by January. On top of that, wife goes in for knee surgery on Nov 19 and will not be able to walk for a couple of weeks...
busy, busy, busy
Alex, you work at the pen, right? If so, I have to go over to Action Plumbing / HVAC quite often, I could come see you. Leah, I could come to you as well, we just need a place you can give me directions to.
I will PM both of you my cell number, we can figure it out.

Oh Ginz, totally get your pilot's license... however, do not die like Labbats. That is all I needed to say.
Before you fly, give me your login info for the west too, so I can play like 37 accounts when you do die
><
ps
Fly to nebraska for our gay rl meeting, then fly me someplace warm

I have to do my cross country yet, but I am almost ready for written and check flight. I'm doing my training in a Diamond DA 20 under part 61.
As of now I've done my ground work, night flights, solos, ground reference, stalls, radio work, etc...
What are you flying in? You flying out of a Signature or a Sheltair?
Everyone has that one "thing" they find most difficult - mine was navigating the damn airports. When ground calls you with "Runway 36 via A then B" it's a pita if you are not familiar with the airport layout.
